About prophecy...

Of course, if God were to suddenly become ...different... then nothing would make sense, and as things are now, it may seem obvious that I am wrong about what is to happen, and so, just to rub the face of the holy spirit in it, I am showing how wrong he is and how, instead of God being different NOW, the way He has been viewed is responsible for the distorted view as far as His goodness is concerned.

First, let us talk basics:

This is how things are viewed as being ordered, among the so-called 'believers'.

God makes the first man, and then decides he needs a wife, and gives him the wife.

And gives him a commandment about what to eat and not eat.

But, note one thing; after the 'fall of man', God says to the woman:
I will GREATLY multiply your pain in child bearing...

meaning He had meant that the woman HAVE pain in child-bearing, but only a little, which points out to something being WRONG in all this child-bearing issue.

to the serpent, which thought to mingle in the matter between the man and God [about the man abusing the prerogative God had given him to speak and have it be, by asking for something that was not there] God said:
I will put enemity between you and the woman, between your SEED and her SEED, you shall bruise his heel, but he shall crush your head

and that, points out to a few things...

1) a 'seed' is what comes out of one, yes? That which is hidden and is later exposed. The woman's seed is therefore the one who will reveal the true nature of the woman...get it?

2) The serpent's seed,[ bearing in mind that the serpent had carnal knowledge of a woman that was not its mate, that it was not designed to have, at a time when a serpent  was still upright, but was to be later cursed to 'eat dust', meaning just focus on the things of this day to day living]would mean anyone who did what showed that he or she was only interested in a life where God was not the Source but some far off Entity...which pretty much includes...everyone.

God said of the holy spirit: 'My spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is but dust', so, there is no caveat by which he can hide and thing he is not included, and he has shown himself to be only interested in control even when he had no leg to stand on, as far as I am concerned.

I mean, I cursed him, and he was supposed to depart, if the word that christ said meant anything, that one could curse God and get away with it, curse christ and still live, but not the holy spirit.

the silly fool!

about christ, well, it gets interesting, because, you see, to him, the fact that he presumed to be the heir of all things, the one to whom God would give everything, is shown in all his parables, but what is more interesting is the 'prophecies' surrounding him.

notice that when God said what was to happen, it was off the cuff, it was not something that one could see as happening, something that was, at the moment, illogical, because it had no basis.

God would MAKE it happen, which is the distinguishing mark of God's deeds. He NEVER speaks of the mundane, but rather the unusual, and by His speech creates room for it to happen, more like...'if I had not said it, you would not have known that something like that could happen, but I said it that you may know that it is from Me, the Almighty God, that such a thing happens'

the holy spirit uses, however, what is available, and do you notice the prophecy about christ;' but you, Bethlehem Ephratah, are not least among the nations, because out of you shall come a ruler for my people Israel, whose origins are of old...'?

It does not take a genuis to figure out that he took to heart that God, in removing the Israelites from Egypt, gave then manna, and having done so, later said, that He did that man shall not leave on bread alone but by every word that came from heaven, and by pondering that, with a lot of time to try to bend people to his own vain-glorious ways, the holy spirit began to draft a way to get people firmly under his control.

He did not take into account the fact that God never intended for 'nations' to exist to begin with so He would not compound the lie by verifying something that was without substance to begin with.

and look at how the birth of christ came about: it was so...contrived...too convoluted to be the 'easy thing' that God does.

Compare that with God's prophecy about Cyrus, before he was even born and became king [through Isaiah] about how He would take him by the hand though he did not know Him, and see just how obtuse the use, by the holy spirit, of the evil intentions of a Roman dictator brought about the coming of christ into the world... and notice the singular silence of GOD when it came to the issue of christ.

all He ever did was, when Daniel won favour with the king Nebuchadnezzar concerning his grasp of the twin principles of ass-licking and rejecting the customs of the conqueror, was to show that there will be a rock that would smash all manner of kingdoms and fill the earth.

years before, still with Isaiah, whom He had sent to cause people to be 'blind' actually, he had said, 'unto us is a child born... the government shall be upon his shoulder... of the increase of his government shall be no end... he shall be called Almighty God, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace...', and it is all happening, seamlessly.

but what really gets me going good is the donkey thing, where the prophecy starts, 'Rejoice, O Daughter of the City of David, for your king cometh, seated on a colt, the foal of a donkey...'

Now, David was a man running after God's heart, and yet he failed, because if he had not, then God would not have said, 'I will put on his shoulder the keys of the house of David, what he opens, no one may shut, what he shuts, no one may open... '
